Chromatic Resonance

Original painting · Acrylic on canvas · 90x80x5cm

$1,195

Chromatic Resonance explores the relationship between fluid movement and geometric order. Concentric curves sweep through pink, amber, lavender and mint-green fields, interrupted by narrow vertical columns of saturated colour.

Successive layers of acrylic are worked with shaped scraping tools, revealing underlying pigment and leaving rhythmic forms whose textures record the movement of the tool.

An original work on a deep gallery canvas, with painting extending around its five-centimetre sides. Ready to hang without additional framing.
