Chromatic Echoes

Original painting · Acrylic on canvas · 90x80x5cm

$1,195

Chromatic Echoes moves between colour and structure. Soft lilacs, powder blues, coral pinks and muted greens form intersecting fields, interrupted by horizontal bands of scraped paint.

Successive layers are cut back to reveal colour beneath. Raised ridges, broken edges and irregular marks give the surface a sculptural presence that changes with the light.

An original acrylic painting on a 5 cm-deep gallery canvas. The composition continues around the sides and needs no additional frame.
