Meet the Artist
William is a self-taught, emergent British abstract artist working out of rural Oxfordshire and central London. His works only came to the market in Summer 2023. He specialises in brightly coloured, complex yet harmonious abstract striped canvases. He uses Richter-inspired scrapers to apply and remove acrylic paint laying down, and scraping off, multiple layers over time. The works are very textural with a wealth of incredible detail, yet from a distance In the changing light, the colours and forms come together as a single, wonderful whole.
William's Vision
So many people are looking to buy art online which is great, but actually it can also be quite nerve-wracking not seeing the work before you buy it. At Studio William Watkin we make the whole process as easy as we can. We share lots and lots of images of the work, including videos of the surface with the artist explaining details. We ship the work for free anywhere in the world with a full money back guarantee if the work is just not up to scratch. You are welcome to visit the studio in South Oxfordshire to see the work in person and William is willing to answer any questions in person or online. The pricing is competitive and transparent. All works are very carefully packaged and arrive ready to hang. We even offer a framing service on request at around half the price of normal framers.
